Two-Hour Camera and Photography Workshop
No matter how you hold that fancy digital camera, all of those buttons may as well be in an airplane's cockpit. Point your nose in the right direction and learn to fly with today's deal: Drop $49 (regularly $100) for a two-hour introductory camera workshop from Madrone Studios.
Head down to SoMa for this unique experience -- designed by professional photographer Mike Byrne -- in which an amiable instructor will lead an engaging workshop that may help you understand the ins and outs of your SLR or DSLR digital camera, as well as lend your resulting photographs a less amateurish veneer. During the session, you'll spend an hour in the studio learning about your machine's basic technical capabilities before venturing into the city to snap some killer shots. The small classes (capped at ten participants) allow for plenty of master-apprentice interaction, which is just what you need to help your photos soar.
